It’s the lightest alpine jacket we do, yet it’s still very robust and packed with user-driven detailing!

To reflect the varying requirements of different areas of the jacket we have opted for ‘zonal’ fabric technology and used two different versions of our weatherproof TEXAPORE fabric. The front are precision tailored from extremely lightweight TEXAPORE 3GRID DT. At the areas where the rucksack straps and belt cause greater abrasion and higher water pressures occur, and those where better breathability is required (hood, shoulders, sleeves and waist), we have used TEXAPORE O2 TASLITE, which has higher hydrostatic head and moisture vapour transmission ratings. Both fabrics have a 2.5 layer structure, with a special protective coating on the reverse side that replaces a lining and thus saves weight (as do the water resistant zips).

As befits a high performance alpine jacket, the ACCELERATE is equipped with venting pit zips, three practical, easy-access pockets and a fully adjustable collar.
